Walner yearlings continued to dominate the Lexington Selected Yearling Sales with the three highest sales toppers sired by the former Breeders Crown champion.
Wall To Wall (#268) was the sale topper Tuesday, bringing a bell-ringing $525,000 to winning bidder Nancy Takter, Agent of Allentown, NJ.
Consigned by Preferred Equine, Wall To Wall is from the Love You mare, Pearl Axe It, who is from Europe. Wall To Wall is a half-sister to Hall It Off 3,1:56.3f; BT1:55.4f-ā21.
Just three yearlingās prior was the second highest sale of the day, another filly by Walner as Singeth With Joy (#264) was pursed by Ken Jacobs of Baldwinsville, NY for $510,000.
Consigned by Hunterton Sale Agency, she is out of the Muscle Hill mare, Lonely Lady, whose dam, Cocktail Hour, is the dam of Bar Hopping 2,1:56.3; 3,1:51.4 ($1,292,433).
Third in top pricing was the Walner colt, Double Dippin, cosigned by Cameo Hills Farms who brought $300,000 by Lucas Wallin, Agent of New Egypt, NJ.
This foal is from the Credit Winner mare, Borrow And Spend, and is a half-brother to Earn And Burn 2,Q1:58.4f; 3,1:57f and the second dam, Armbro DĆ©jĆ vu, is the dam of world champion Dejarmbro 2,1:55f; 3,1:52.2f ($1,137,285) and Hared Past 2,1:55.4; 3,Q1:53f; BT1:52.2s ($414,165).
It has been an incredible sale over the first two days with 331 yearlings selling for a total price of $36,318,000 for an average of $109,722 so far.
