Watch Em Win takes out “The Solicitor”

Tioga Downs played host to the Reynolds Memorial freshman stakes on Friday (September 19)

Watch Em Win (Jim Pantaleano) captures the $70,400 “The Solicitor” for 2-year-old colts.

Knoxville (Mark MacDonald) led to the quarter in :27.0.  Watch Em Win ($18.92) then took the lead with a lap to go and was first to the half in :56.0 and first to three quarters in 1:23.0.

Watch Em Win held off a late charge from Everlast Sting Deo (Matt Kakaley) to win in 1:52.3.  Everlast Sting Deo was disqualified for interference and placed sixth.  American Pastime (Braxten Boyd) inherited second place.  Ideal Rebel (Mike Merton) finished third.

Watch Em Win is a 2-year-old colt by He’s Watching-Winners Over.  He is trained by Ron Burke for owners Burke Racing Stable, P Collura & Weaver Bruscemi.  It was his third career victory.

Here are the other Reynolds Memorial winners:

David Seaman S (Ake Svanstedt) grabs the $33,650 first division of “The Judge Moore” for 2-year-old trotting colts.  He is a colt by Six Pack-Dreamgirl Homline.  He is owned by trainer Svanstedt and Stall Arsenal Ab.  It was his second career win.

Read The Room (Ake Svanstedt) holds on to take the $34,150 second division of “The Judge Moore”.  The colt by Chapter Seven-Debra Hall is owned by trainer Svanstedt, Little E LLC, Nasstrom Hld, and Munkhaugen.  It was his first career win.

Nuance (Brett Becwith) wins the $28,100 first division of “The Meda” for 2-year-old trotting fillies.  She is a filly by Greenshoe-Hillarmbro.  She is owned by Courant Inc. and trained by Marcus Melander.  It was her second career victory.

Sharp Seven (Jeff Gregory) captures the $28,100 second division of “The Meda”.  She is a By Chapter Seven-Lookin Sharp.  She is owned by Purple Haze Stables and trained by George Ducharme.  She now has five career victories.

Cash Out Express (Matt Kakaley) takes the $28,100 third division of “The Meda”.  She is a filly by International Moni– Malisiosa.  She is owned by James DeArmond, Jim Winske, Sal Vullo and trainer George Ducharme.  It was her second career victory.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing for closing night on Saturday (September 20) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
