Special evening of racing at Yonkers

The historic Yonkers Raceway’s trackside restaurant, Empire Terrace, will be open at full capacity for a special evening of harness racing events Friday, June 30th from 6:30pm-10:30pm.

Sports aficionados and guests can enjoy a Night at the Races and witness the first leg of the Trotting Triple Crown and the opening leg of the Pacing Triple Crown with the signature Yonkers Trot and MGM Grand Messenger Stakes taking place at Yonkers Raceway. This is a unique experience to kick off the start of the Fourth of July holiday weekend trackside at the world-renowned track that held its first horse races in 1899.

Empire Terrace Restaurant will serve a gourmet a la carte menu, while guests enjoy the thrill of wagering and watching the top equine athletes in the world compete at this historic track. The menu includes a variety of options to satisfy every palette, including the traditional options of Ribeye Steak, Half Chicken with Lemon Sauce, a Classic Cheeseburger, New York cheesecake, and more.
