Christopher Dragone, Executive Director of the Ohio State Racing Commission confirmed to Harnesslink that Stockade Seelster was scratched from the Little Brown Jug last week due to violation of the harness racing detention barn rules.
āIt was the decision of the three Judges at the Ohio County Fair,ā Dragone explained. āThe Ohio State Racing Commission does not have jurisdiction at the County Fairs. That falls upon the Judges at the Fair.
āIt is our understanding that the rules and regulations were violated according to the Judges.ā Dragone said. āYes, Dr. Ian Moore was the trainer of record for Stockade Seelster. I can also tell you that despite the rumors, no contraband was found.ā
No one from the Little Brown Jug has returned any messages from Harnesslink concerning what fines and/or suspension have been levied against Dr. Moore and any details that led to Stockade Seelster being scratched from the race. Dr. Moore also did not return any messages concerning the incident.
