WASHINGTON, PA, July 8, 2021 — Hurrikane Lori Ann pulled the pocket through the final turn and rolled to victory in 1:51.3, a lifetime mark, in Thursday’s harness racing feature at The Meadows, a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.
Hurrikane Lori Ann sat comfortably in the pocket while the well-meant Amelia’s Courage A threw down a 1:23.4 three-quarters. That was the signal for Tony Hall to move the 5-year-old daughter of Lis Mara-Luxury Goods, who defeated Amelia’s Courage A by 4 lengths. Something Reel was a ground-saving third.
