Karen Taft, Monroe Township, New Jersey was awakened Monday, July 19 around 2am with her house fully engulfed in flames. She had no choice but to exit her 2nd floor bedroom window. She was transferred to St. Barnabas Medical Centerās Burn Center in Livingston, NJ with 3rd degree burns to her arms, hands and shoulders where she is expected to remain for 10 ā 14 days.
Karen started working with standardbred horses in 1987 and became a trainer in 2013 and continues to train. Karen started working with The Standardbred Owners Association of New York in Yonkers, NY in 2017.
