Dover, DE – There were two $20,000 divisions of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund series kick-off for three-year-old pacing fillies Wednesday at Dover Downs.

In the first race it was Stealing Bases (Roddy’s Bags Again-End To End Hanover) who took command at the quarter and led to the wire, winning in 1:54.4 for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer, Jim King, Jr.

This was a lifetime mark for the filly bred and owned by JoAnn Looney-King. Roses And Orchids got the place and Hey Hey Dbay was the show.

The second division was the second half of the daily double and was marred by the favorite making a break after the start and leaving a clear track for Cinder’s Baby (Rockabillie-Cinderella) to go wire-to-wire and also earning a new lifetime record of 1:54.4.

Driven by Ross Wolfenden for trainer Virginia Louthan and owners William Masterson and Eli Beiler. Elam Esh is the breeder.  Tobago Time (Allan Davis) was second followed by Seboomook Beauty in third.

SOHO BURNING LOVE A DOMINATES AGAIN

Soho Burning Love A dominated in the Winner’s Over/Mares Open Handicap Pace at Dover Downs on Wednesday night. Driver Tim Tetrick handled the 1/9 race favorite Soho Burning Love A confidently, as he left from post six, settling in fourth, then seized the lead past the quarter.

Soho Burning Love A set burning fractions of 26.3 to the quarter. The half was buzzed in 54.3, a :28 flat quarter. The third quarter was reached in 1:22, a 27.2 quarter. The winning time was 1:50.3. The winning margin was 1 ¾ lengths.

Scuola Hanover, the second choice in the wagering, moved off the rail in front of the stands and inched up 1st over on the rim. However, her challenge stalled and she finished fifth.

Feeling Sweet, maintained pocket position throughout the mile and finished a non-threatening 2nd for trainer Joe Columbo and driver Mike Cole. Betsea also saved ground on the rail and finished 3rd for trainer Josh Green and driver Allan Davis.

SOHO BURNING LOVE A REPLAY

Soho Burning Love A (Auckland Reactor N) is owned by Jo Ann Looney-King, of Harrington, Delaware, B.K. Carsey, Connersville, Indiana and Jeff Fought Racing, Columbus, Ohio.

Driver Tim Tetrick won 6 races on the 14-race card. Racing resumes at Dover Downs on Thursday with the Open Handicap Pace. Post Time is 4:30 pm.
