New peak for Unity in third straight

WASHINGTON, PA, July 21, 2022  — Unity (He’s Watching-Beach Of A Time) rolled to her third straight win, a facile front-end score in a career-best 1:51.3, in Thursday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Unity seated the well-meant Leave Her Wild from the gate — and never let her get closer, downing her by 2 lengths for Dave Palone. Factory Girl finished third.

Michael Hitchcock trains Unity, a 3-year-old, for H&H Stable.

Palone piloted four winners and Mike Wilder three on the 11-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Friday when the 11-race program features a pair of carryovers: $6,955.29 in the final-race Super Hi-5, $288.31 in the Jackpot Pick Five (race four). First post is 5:10 PM.
