Hennessey, Mark Of A Beast take Saratoga Open

Mark Of A Beast (Imagistic), trained by Andrew Byler and driven by Wally Hennessey scored an easy victory in Sunday’s (Oct. 23) $16,000 Open Trot.

The 5-year-old gelding got away with the lead and was able to hang on until the wire, trotting a mile in 1:55.4 and winning by a half a length. Mark Of A Beast paid $16.20 to win. Makadushin N Cheez (Jim Devaux) was second and Bourbon Express (Brett Crawford) was third.
