WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 4, 2022 — Even by his lofty standards, Friday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows was a remarkable day for harness racing trainer Ron Burke: seven wins, including a sweep of the day’s $15,400 co-features with Seeyou At Thebeach and In Rock We Trust.

Burke lost only one race in which his horse or horses went to post.

Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. piloted five of Burke’s winners while Dave Palone steered the other two. Wrenn and Palone finished the 13-race card with six wins and three wins, respectively.

Seeyou At Thebeach (Somebeachsomewhere-Persistent) moved powerfully first up from third to pass his stablemate, Market Based, in deep stretch and down him by a head in a career-best 1:49.4. Chief Mate shot the Lightning Lane for show.

In Rock We Trust (Rock N Roll Heaven-Sweet Lady Lee) was forced to go three wide for the early lead by his stablemate, Youmakemyheartsing, and had just enough to hold off the late rally of Cliffhanger, edging him by x in 1:52.2. Youmakemyheartsing saved show.

Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC own In Rock We Trust, an 8-year-old gelding who triumphed for the ninth time this year and boosted his lifetime earnings to $214,745.
