WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 9, 2022 — Oberto (Yankee Glide-Don’t Say Don’t) gobbled up the leader with a powerful first-over move, then rolled to an easy harness racing victory in Wednesday’s (Oct. 9) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $15,400 Conditioned Trot.
Oberto was fourth down the backside when Ridge Warren tipped him off the cones. The 6-year-old gelding overpowered The Prince on the point and drew off to score in 1:53.4, 7-1/4 lengths better than the rallying Windsong Patriot. Enzio finished third. Jessica Roegner trains Oberto, who lifted his lifetime bankroll to $241,843, for Paul O’Neil.
