HARRISBURG, PA – During the 75th diamond anniversary year of the United States Harness Writers Association (USHWA), it seems appropriate that a 14-karat diamond ring will be a highly-desired door prize for attendants of the Dan Patch Awards Banquet, presented by Caesars Entertainment, honoring the best and brightest human and equine jewels of 2022 harness racing, and to be held on February 19 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando FL.
Bow River Jewelry of Mentor, Ohio, one of the leading equestrian jewelers in the country is the generous donor of the ring. Art Strozewski of Bow River is an honorary member of USHWA.
The ring is a 14-karat white gold horseshoe ring with 11 round brilliant cut diamonds, having a total weight of 0.50 carats of diamonds with G color, SI1 clarity. The ring has a retail value of $2,100. The lucky winner of the unisex ring will have it sized at the banquet.
Strozewski said, “Bow River is proud to be able to participate in USHWA’s 75 th anniversary, and we thank them for this opportunity.” For his part, USHWA president Barry Lefkowitz stated, “We have worked with Art and Bow River for many years, and I’m delighted that he thought enough of our 75th-anniversary milestone to recognize it in this way.”
