New Director of Marketing for the MSOA

WASHINGTON, PA, Jan. 17, 2023 — The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) announced today the appointment of Tasha McCormick as director of marketing.

McCormick has spent more than 25 years promoting and marketing harness racing. She also will lead promotions, loyalty and rewards programs for the MSOA.

McCormick began her career in off-track betting at Ladbroke and was promoted numerous times, eventually serving as general manager of the Moon and West Mifflin locations. She became the racing rewards manager for Meadows Racing in 2007 and ultimately served as interim director of racing, then racing services manager.

“Tasha is an impressive leader, and her success in creating loyalty and rewards programs for harness racing is well known and appreciated locally. She has superior guest relations skills that will create a welcoming environment for anyone who is interested in wagering on our races,” said Kim Hankins, executive director of the MSOA. “We are thrilled to have her lead our efforts.”

“I have spent almost my entire career working with harness racing,” McCormick said. “I love this sport, and I’m very excited to develop new and innovative strategies that attract new people to racing.”
McCormick begins on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.
