HARRINGTON, DE – Kdk Standardbreds’ Heinikin Bythebay (Southwind Lynx) and harness racing driver Art Stafford Jr. were 1:53.1 winners in the featured $20,000 Open Monday at Harrington Raceway, while trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier had 4 wins on the evening.
Heinikinbythebay, a 4-year-old gelding, controlled the tempo most of the race in a confident triumph over Outclassed and Ollie’s Z Tam. The Kevin Switzer-trainee recorded his 5th win of the season and boosted his seasonal bankroll to nearly $90,000. He paid $2.80 to win as the wagering favorite.

On the undercard, Vince Bradley and Trinity Pilkington’s Never Say Never N ($32, Allan Davis) won one of two $40,000 to $50,000 claiming handicaps in 1:53.2 for trainer Bart Bradley. Melvin Fink’s Advance Man ($4.80, Corey Callahan) notched his 3rdĀ win early in the meet in the remaining division in 1:54.3 in one of four wins on the card for trainer Crissman-Bier, who also scored wins with Effingham ($2.80, Corey Callahan), Ideal Flip ($9.80, Ross Wolfenden), Cantnobodytelmenothn ($7.80, Wolfenden). Fink-owned horses won 3 races on the program.
Stafford Jr., Wolfenden, Pat Berry, Corey Callahan, Tony Morgan and Allan Davis each had driving doubles.
