WASHINGTON, PA, June 1, 2023 — Four Wide N Flyin’ (Heston Blue Chip-Four Hour Nap) turned back late challenges inside and outside to capture Thursday’s (Jun. 1) harness racing feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, an $11,800 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.
Four Wide N Flyin’ quarter-poled to the top for driver Jeremy Indof, but the toughest part of her journey was still to come. In mid-stretch, she was confronted by the first-over Bettingfra outside and Bettorbytheseaside in the Lightning Lane. The 3-year-old filly, rigged with blinkers for the first time, dug in and prevailed in a career-best 1:52.4. Bettorbytheseaside was second, a neck back, with Bettingfra third.
