Boudoir Hanover (Captaintreacherous) and harness racing driver Tim Tetrick fanned out three-wide at the top of the stretch and won going away in the $25,000 Mares Open Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday (Jan. 3) night.
Majorca N left alertly from the start of the race. Tae accepted the pocket trip and Incaseyoudidntknow was parked to the quarter in :26.3. The 1/2 betting favorite Boudoir Hanover, left from post 8 and found a seat in fifth place racing to the quarter.
Incaseyoudidntknow was committed to the front and led the field to the half in :55.4.(:29).
Feeling Sweet raced first-up down the backstretch. Boudoir Hanover shadowed second-over on the rim. Incaseyoudidntknow and Feeling Sweet battled to the three quarters in 1:24, a :28.1 quarter.
By the top of the stretch Boudoir Hanover was on the move and powered to the top to win by a length and three quarters in 1:51.2. She paced the final quarter in :27.2 and paid $3 for the win.

Incaseyoudidntknow cut the mile and finished second. Majorca N found room late to finish third.
The feature race on tomorrow’s card is the $28,500 Blue Hen Open Handicap Pace. I Did It Myway searches for his 4th consecutive win. Belmont Royale N and Mack hope to play the spoilers.
