Bally’s Dover awards leading horsemen/women

Bally’s Dover 2023-24 harness racing season ended Thursday (March 28).

The United States Harness Writers Association’s Delaware Valley Chapter honored JoAnn Looney-King’s Dreaming of Lou (Sweet Lou) as Horse of the Meet.   Dreaming of Lou had 16 starts with 7 wins and 3 seconds banking near $ 100,000 during the meet.

This season’s leading driver title went to Tim Tetrick scoring 183 wins during the course of the meet.  Anthony Morgan followed in second with 135 and Corey Callahan third with 134.

Chuck Crissman, Jr was the meet’s leading trainer with 97 wins followed by Joe Columbo from the George Dennis Stable with 89.

Bally’s Dover 2024-25 Race Meet begins November 4, 2024.
