WASHINGTON, PA, May 3, 2024 — Jeffery P (Full Count) retook the harness racing lead at the quarter and had no serious challenges, thereafter, triumphing for the second straight week in Friday’s $21,200 Open Handicap Trot at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
Once back on the top, Jeffery P never drew away from the field, but the 9-year-old gelding made it clear he was the boss, scoring in 1:53.2 for Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. Early leader Mon Amour was second, beaten 1-1/4 lengths, while Double Account was a ground-saving third.
