FFA Pace to Layton Hanover, Callahan wins five

HARRINGTON, DE – David Rovine, Kdp Stable and Mike Hall’s Layton Hanover (Captaintreacherous) and harness racing driver Montrell Teague were a 1:51.4 winner in the $22,500 Harrington Raceway Free-for-All Pace Monday (June 3).

The 5-year-old gelding received a second over trip behind Effingham and rallied past pacesetter Baba O’Riley near three quarters for a 2-length win. Mack was second with Effingham third. Trained by co-owner Hall, it was his 4th win of the year for Layton Hanover, and he paid $4.00 to win.

LAYTON HANOVER REPLAY

Later on, the card, Tlb Racing’s Captaincountrystar (Captaintreacherous) with driver Pat Berry won his 3rd straight race by open lengths in 1:52. He paid $2.10 to win.

CAPTAINCOUNTRYSTAR REPLAY

Corey Callahan had 5 wins on the card, 3 of which were for trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier. Teague had 3 wins on the program.
