Columbus, MN – The racing office at Running Aces has processed a total of sixteen nominations for the 2024 Steve Wiseman Memorial FFA trot which will be the featured harness racing event at the Minnesota oval during the month of August.
There will be two $17,500 elimination races on Sunday (August 11) with the top four finishers from each elimination, plus the fastest fifth place finisher returning for the $35,000 final on Sunday (August 18).

The 2024 field of nominees includes several half-million dollar winners, led by Ari Ferrari J ($877,931) and including All Champy ($610,950) On Higher Ground ($591,379) and Winnerup ($513,837).
Both of the richest Minnesota-sired trotters to-date are also among the field of nominees: 9-year-old gelding Bringoverthemoney ($384,240) along with the richest mare, 7-year-old Susie’s Sister ($324,797) who currently holds four Aces track records and is the only mare to be nominated to the Wiseman in 2024.

The live racing season at Running Aces is in full swing through September 21, with action offered three nights per week. Post time on Tuesdays is 7 p.m. and post time on both Thursdays and Sundays is 6 p.m. (CDT).
This weekend at Running Aces will feature the $50,000 Dan Patch FFA pace as part of a big 12-race program on Sunday (July 28). The night also offers ‘Pepsi Family Night’ specials and kid’s activities, trout fishing, food trucks, sole survivor handicapping contest, losing ticket drawings and more. First post is at 6 p.m. (CDT).
