ER Super Shady (Shadyshark Hanover) with harness racing driver Dylan Huckabone-Miller and Bourbon Express (RC Royalty) and driver John MacDonald captured the co-features at Vernon Downs on Friday (August 16).

Blue Collar Man (Josh Kinney) was first to the quarter in :26.2.Ā Gunpowder N (Jimmy Whittemore) took the lead going around the first turn.Ā Then Snap Call (John MacDonald) took over and was first to the half in :54.2.Ā He cruised to three-quarters in 1:23.2.
As they reached the stretch ER Super Shady made her move and blew right on by to win in a lifetime best of 1:52.1.Ā Snap Call had to settle for second.Ā Go With The Flow (Leon Bailey) finished third.d pace.wder N (Jimmy Whittemore) took the lead going around the first turn.Ā Then Snap Call (John MacDonald) took over and was first to the half in :54.2.Ā He cruised to three-quarters in 1:23.2.
ER Super Shady is a 5-year-old mare is owned by James Crawford IV and trained by Claude Huckabone, III.Ā It was her third win this season.Ā She now has seven career victories.

Bourbon Express ($4.20) wins the $5,500 featured trot.
Bourbon Express led to the quarter in :28.3.Ā He slowed things down with a :29.4 second quarter and was first to the half in :58.2.Ā He remained on top to three-quarters in 1:27.2.
As they entered the stretch Only Passing Thru (Jimmy Whittemore) and Lepanto (Leon Bailey) went all out after the leader, but Bourbon Express had plenty in the tank and won in 1:56.1.Ā Lepanto was second best.Ā Only Passing Thru finished third.
Bourbon Express is a 7-year-old gelding is owned by James DeArmond, Sal Vullo, and trainer Jessica Okusko.Ā It was his fifth win this season and the 29th win of his career.
