Hussard du Landret (6m Bird Parker-Anamine du Bellay) at 29/1 odds stormed down the middle of the track at Paris-Vincennes in France Sunday (Nov. 19) to capture the Gr. II Prix de Bretagne (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters voltstart, 18 starters) with harness racing trainer/owner Benoit Robin driving.
The nine-time winner in 53 career starts has earned 761,760€. Second was 20/1 Hooker Berry (6m Booster Winner-Osaka Berry), the 2023 Prix d’Amerique winner, with Nicolas Bazire up for trainer Jean Michel Bazire and Michel Aladenise. Third was 4/1 Hokkaido Jiel (6m Brillantiassime-Victory Jiel) the race favorite today with David Thomain driving for trainer J.L. Dersoir amd Ecurie Luck. The 7.6/1 Ampia Mede SM (7f Ganymede) and 52/1 Elvis du Vallon (9m Reve de Beylev) completed the top five with the first three earning Prix d’Amerique tickets.
